Christmas greetings from the island's "safest hotel"
Jack Leonardo has been in Palma prison for several years and still has a few more to go. As a fellow German, he is supported by the ecumenical prison visiting service; a project of the German Consulate and the two churches that also have parishes in Mallorca.

The artist not only leads the prison band, which is dedicated to good old hard rock and occasionally gives concerts for fellow inmates, but he has also dedicated himself to painting and uses his time in prison to create his works that are already known island-wide.
This year, we present a selection of his photographs in this calendar featuring typical Mallorcan motifs, which can also be viewed and purchased individually upon request. This project is non-profit, and the proceeds are used exclusively for printing costs and as a donation to the German Prison Visiting Service in Mallorca.
