Readers become authors!

Readers become authors – creating books together

Everyone knows something worth writing down:

  • a family recipe (“The Meyer family’s Sauerbraten”)
  • a custom or festive dish from the homeland
  • a story or fairy tale that has been passed down
  • a personal experience that can touch others

We collect such contributions and compile them into collective books – living collections full of regional treasures and personal stories.

Examples

  • Baking recipes for Franconian festivals
  • What is baked for the holidays in Thuringia
  • Fairy tales from the Ore Mountains

How it works
Pay once – contribute multiple times!

You can submit a variety of recipes, stories, or traditions – and pay a one-time fee of €19 per topic. Contributions from all over the world are especially welcome. We create these in German, but we also welcome originals in other languages – if the authors support us.

We collect stories and make cultural heritage visible to everyone.

  • Proofreading is possible upon request.
  • You will receive 50% of the net proceeds from each sale of the book.

Publication usually takes place within 6-8 weeks.

👉 Write with us – your knowledge, your story, your recipe will become part of a unique book!
Preserving memories
"I still remember my mother. She had an old leather notebook full of handwritten recipes: devil's cake, pickling cucumbers... The pages were yellowed, but that was the only way it tasted the way it should.

Today, there are thousands of recipes online – but what we really want to share are the stories behind them. The memories.
The traditions.

That's why we invite you: Write down your recipe or story, take a few pictures while baking or cooking – and send it to us.

This way, the valuable content is preserved, reaches many readers – and you receive
even a commission from every sale!

“Kids, get your grandma on the laptop!”
Your recipes, fairy tales, and stories are too precious to be forgotten. Together we'll turn them into a book!"

And best of all, it's also a wonderful gift idea!
Give your family or friends a piece of memory – as a shared book.
